i plan to take the full time course, if can completed ASAP is better, prefer the certificate is acceptance by international. can anyone let me know the details? except for the above 3 school, any others school for recommed?Bridal make up and hairstyling course: top to toe, the school of makeup or cosmoprof, which one is better?
I used to have such a decision like u too!! haha...
In the end, i didnt choose these 2 courses. A beautian friend told me that the course is only a skill %26amp; practice can make the skill perfect... What that is most important is the products i'm going to use on people! So i listen to her %26amp; got myself the World Top 5 skincare %26amp; Cosmetic brand, Artistry. The products are good %26amp; i get to attend the skin care/makeup %26amp; hairstyling course too! Most importantly, the course fee is very very cheap... less than $200 if im not wrong.. plus Artistry is international company over 80 over countries!
However, its still your own decision afterall.. i just wanna share my experiences with u only!

as for your hair...wear it up because its a halter and it goes around your neck, if your hair is down it will be too much going on in that area. and look up a smokey eye. Use a color other than blue also. For example wear that shirt cute pants and shoes with yellow and blue earrings yellow clutch or purse and make the base color for your eye shadow yellow. But you can use a different colore other than yellow. The best colors would most likely be oranges, yellows, lime greens anything in that bright tropical category. or BLACK it partners very well with turquoise! Especially with a dark silver jewelry theme. The easy way out is to go to your nearest mall or look up MAC and they will do your makeup for you I have so much family working or MAC we should own all the chains. lol. Im sure ull look great. have fun with that shirt its very cute!!!! (love the cut) ooohh and ull need an adhesive bra most likely.

no matter what makeup i buy my makeup gathers under my nose and makes me look like i have a moustache- let me stress i do NOT- lol

Macy has products to keep make-up for the eyes. Powder works. Cornstarch too. You might need to find better m-up. Ester L. When u ware m-up u often have to look in the mirror for touch up with your powder. Live with it remember it is m-up. There is coverage Dermablend you put on before the m-up. Even movie stars take a break for touch up. That is why the call it make UP. I need to touch up right now. lol
Use Ponds Cold cream-lightly apply around your nose and above the lip-this will act as a ';Guideline'; for your make-up coverage.
Remember to use a little and give it a minute to dry.
This situation use to happen to me-till I was ';Experimenting'; This is the only product that works, and does not irritate, nor have any smells to go along with it.

Well I had the same problem...I now use Dior's new Diorskin Airflash foundation. It's 60 dollars but its great. You lightly spritz it over your skin, it makes your skin look flawless and airbrushed with out feel like you have gross, caked on make up. You spray it in a circular motion...and I noticed after I used this foundation it didn't bunch up around my nose and around my lip. I guess it's because it's the best one out there. You have to be willing to pay the price though.
Another suggestion would be is to simply not put that much make up above your lip, you're not supposed to anyway. Maybe just a little powder...or if you do put foundation there, take a kleenex or a sponge and totally wipe off any excess, just leaving a thin, concealing line. This will prevent from bunching because there's not as much product in one area. Moisturizer also helps foundation go on smoother.

I'm just wearing some liquid eyeliner on top and some eye pencil at the bottom with one coat of mascarra, do you think I should cut down on something or do you think its fine? my mum thinks the liquid eyeliner looks too over the top and that I should leave it for special occasians but what do you think?

You have beautiful large eyes. I would say stay away from liquid eye liner, pencil will look much better and stay AWAY from corners.

It actually depends on what look you are trying to achieve. I have always put mine on Top. Just a thin layer on the top lids using a gel eyeliner and a brush does a lot. It opens your eyes a little bit. Try Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner and eyeliner brush. =)
I always say wear black and i would say to use a pencil liner if u want a soft look plus i would just put it on the bottom it look softer, if you put it on top it can look to harsh thats if your after a subtle, cut look! hope that helps! x

BOTTOM!!!! the top looks horrible. i tried.
Everyone wears make up differently. It fits me best to outline the top of the eyelid and part of the bottom, thats just me. Outlining the whole eye will make it look smaller in most cases.
Any color eyeliner is fine. Again, I just wear what I like because that's how I am. I would stick with greens, browns or gold colors for eyeliner if I were you. But do what you like or what you think would look best.

i have brown eyes too. i put black eyeliner on the inside of my lower eyelids. its brings out the brown color of my eyes. i sometimes do it on the top eyelid too. i use mascara when i feel like it.

I used to do both, but people said i was silly.. so now i only do bottom, and on occasion shadow on top.
It actually depends on what look you are trying to achieve. I have always put mine on Top. Just a thin layer on the top lids using a gel eyeliner and a brush does a lot. It opens your eyes a little bit. Try Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner and eyeliner brush. =)
I always say wear black and i would say to use a pencil liner if u want a soft look plus i would just put it on the bottom it look softer, if you put it on top it can look to harsh thats if your after a subtle, cut look! hope that helps! x

BOTTOM!!!! the top looks horrible. i tried.
Everyone wears make up differently. It fits me best to outline the top of the eyelid and part of the bottom, thats just me. Outlining the whole eye will make it look smaller in most cases.
Any color eyeliner is fine. Again, I just wear what I like because that's how I am. I would stick with greens, browns or gold colors for eyeliner if I were you. But do what you like or what you think would look best.

at seven years old, i was running around in miss-matched clothing of all sorts and shapes, no make-up, not a care in the world. i turned out great! those kids will most likely turn out to be brats or whores.
if you walk into the abercrombie at mall of america, it's swarming with those little girls. it's sickening
i think it's actually really sad that they feel the need to grow up so fast and that their parents let them...Why the hell do seven year olds walk around in tube tops, miniskirts and makeup?

I'm just wearing some liquid eyeliner on top and some eye pencil at the bottom with one coat of mascarra, do you think I should cut down on something or do you think its fine? my mum thinks the liquid eyeliner looks too over the top and that I should leave it for special occasians but what do you think?

Couture fashion...is mostly showed on the runway and in print. Theese are the outrageous fashions you see that you would never wear in everyday life or even to a wedding. However, many designers get ideas from these fashions and produce ready-to wear- fashion items that come from these couture fashions. Same goes with make-up you see on the runway. It may be extreme there, but many get ideas and make it there own, maybe more simple.

Where can I find photos of Tyra Banks featuring her on ANTM Season 10 episode 12 (we are behind in he UK) In particular the episode where Dominique was eliminated. Sometime during that episode she was wearing a beautiful turquoise green eyeshadow; her eyes looked liked jewels.

Use the lotion under foundation as a moisturizer. Then put a foundation, base, or powder on top (as you usually would)
Buy a foundation with an SPF in it, if u put sun lotion over it will remove the foundation, if u put it under the foundation will just slide off your face, but the best thing to do is not wear any foundation in the sun. Just the sun lotion as the sun helps dry out your spots, but if you really need to wear it get a foundation with SPF usually its SPF15! Gd Lk!

Mineral Makeup - what brush is best Kabuki? Flat Top-Buffer? or Stipple Brush?
I new to mineral makeup and my set comes with a average synthetic Kabuki, want to invest in a really good brush as i know that its important.
I just want to know what each brushes benefits are and the kind of finish each one will give me.
I want my makeup to last all day, so medium coverage is what I'm after.
Also any other tips or tricks regarding mineral makeup and how to make it look fab and last long would be much appreciated

for medium coverage i recommend a kabuki brush. a flat top buffer will give you the most coverage because it is thicker and the stipple brush will give you the least. if you do get the kabuki, make sure you get one with the right amount of bristles/thickness. i got a kabuki from cargo in this set http://www.makeup.com/brands/cargo/bronz鈥?/a> and altho its great for bronzer...its not at all good for my foundation. i use the 181 from MAC http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templates/鈥?/a> i bought this particular one because it was cheaper than buying the regular sized one but it works great! its the perfect thickness for my foundation and i get medium coverage. i use the 180 from MAC http://www.makemeheal.com/images/product鈥?/a> when i want more coverage. that particular brush is not sold by MAC anymore but im sure you can get one from a different brand. my 180 (the flat top buffer) is really great for giving you perfect EVEN coverage without making your face look cakey.
stipple brushes are amazing for all kinds of face products. it will give you decent coverage and you can use it for blush and highlighters but i find the 181 easier to work with.
the best tip i can give you is to clean your brush fairly regularly (not vigourously though) because ive heard alot of girls who've started to break out after using bare minerals or that kind of mineral makeup for a few months. and make sure your mineral makeup does not contain bismuth because it is a skin irritant and will make your skin look really disgusting after a while. as with any foundation start in the middle of your face and work your way out. ensure that youre blending out your makeup well so your face and neck aren't different colors. and to make your makeup last longer...stick with a good skin care routine (wash tone and moisturize) then try a foundation primer (the makeup sticks to the primer not your skin making it last longer). make sure you set with a loose powder or even try fix+ from MAC. i swear by it, one spray to finish your makeup.

Am I going OTT (over the top) with my makeup?
I'm 13 and I wear a tinted moisteriser-or if I run out a light foundation like Pure Makeup by Maybelline- and mascara and maybe a sheer blush everyday to go to school. Everyone says I am the cosmetic queen just cause I tell them what I put on that day. This got me a bit annoyed after a while.

Smudge Proof Eye Makeup and Top Brands?
Ok.. so I don't wear any make up apart from eye makeup. No foundation etc, just eyeshadow, eyeliner -both pencil and liquid- and mascara. I only ever used dark colours like black, grey and occasionally purple. The only problem is, it ALWAYS smudges. I have pretty oily skin so Im convinced thats the reason why, so I need something that's going to stop that from happening as I always come home looking like I just got beaten up!
Could somebody please tell me what I need to do, how to do it, and the best brands to do it with. Preferably the cheapest brands as Im only a student and cant afford a whole lot right now! But a list of all brands would be fine too =]
I have tried a few brands already who claim to be 'smudge proof', but Im not going to list them as I want to see if they have worked for others or if I should just steer clear of them from now on.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

put primer on ur lids first. i recommend urban decay primer. and a few brands i use frequently would be MAC and NYX products. (: hope that helps

Benefit makes a great product called She-laq, that will turn any eye product into a waterproof one. It comes in a bottle with separate brushes for each of your needs. You can buy it at a benefit store in your local macys or buy it at sephora. It runs around $35 but it's a godsend and will keep you from having to go out and try all new products. All benefit products come with easy to read directions so that you can do it perfectly the first time and everytime. Good Luck!
i would go to the closest sephora and ask them what they have for smudge free eye makeup. they really know what they're doing, their make-up is good quality and lasts
rimmel london or MAC. the trick to long lastin eyesadow is to put powdered foundation on before the eyeshadow. adn mix it in and reapply, so you don't have to touch it up.
Sephora makes a good eyeliner that doesn't smudge. My best tip is instead to be a special eyeliner brush and use eyeshadow instead of eyeliner. That way if it smudges it looks like a smoky eye which is pretty hot aswell! That way you can experiment with different colours aswell!

You should really take a trip to Sephora, and explain to them that this is your first time experimenting with makeup, and you want to remain looking natural, but pretty at the same time. Make sure that the makeup you get is Noncomedogenic, which means that it can't give you pimples, and oil free. These are the best for your skin. People that work at Sephora specialize in makeup, and can put different things on you, and give you some samples of the things that you like before you buy them. Good luck! They will be happy to help you.
For you, I would suggest sticking with natural looking colors. Don't go crazy with shimmers, or colors that wouldn't normally be found on the face. Try a peachy pink blush on the apples of your cheeks (the little chubby spots you get on the side of your face when you smile), clear lip gloss or lip balm without glitter, black mascara on the top lashes, and if you'd like, maybe some eyeliner on the insides of your eyes (the waterline). Gold or champagne colored eyeshadow with a small amount of shimmer is okay, and would also look great on you with your skin tone. (:

A charcoal color like gray or black is always good.
I have dark eyes too, and the dark eyeliner makes my eyes stand out.
Be sure to use a pencil liner though, the ink liners will look way too dark
Also, try and enhance your eyes with a shimmering light brown eye shadow. It's always good for dark eyes
But since you have dark eyes, NEVER use colors like blue or pink for eye shadow

It really makes you look classy and brings out your features, without being too over the top.

You should really take a trip to Sephora, and explain to them that this is your first time experimenting with makeup, and you want to remain looking natural, but pretty at the same time. Make sure that the makeup you get is Noncomedogenic, which means that it can't give you pimples, and oil free. These are the best for your skin. People that work at Sephora specialize in makeup, and can put different things on you, and give you some samples of the things that you like before you buy them. Good luck! They will be happy to help you.
For you, I would suggest sticking with natural looking colors. Don't go crazy with shimmers, or colors that wouldn't normally be found on the face. Try a peachy pink blush on the apples of your cheeks (the little chubby spots you get on the side of your face when you smile), clear lip gloss or lip balm without glitter, black mascara on the top lashes, and if you'd like, maybe some eyeliner on the insides of your eyes (the waterline). Gold or champagne colored eyeshadow with a small amount of shimmer is okay, and would also look great on you with your skin tone. (:

The brands at those stores are very reliable!
A charcoal color like gray or black is always good.
I have dark eyes too, and the dark eyeliner makes my eyes stand out.
Be sure to use a pencil liner though, the ink liners will look way too dark
Also, try and enhance your eyes with a shimmering light brown eye shadow. It's always good for dark eyes
But since you have dark eyes, NEVER use colors like blue or pink for eye shadow

It really makes you look classy and brings out your features, without being too over the top.

I think that you should do a smoky eye and that it would look really good. Do like a medium gray color on the eye lid, a dark almost black in the crease and a pale tan color on the brow bone. Put black eye liner on the top and bottom eyelids and then black mascara!! Then for the lips do a light pink or clear lip gloss! Have Fun!! Hope this helps u out!!

my favorite ones are H.I.P.(high intensity pigment) and milani. the secret to getting the full color of eyeshadow is to put a very light coat of chapstick on your eyelids and then put the colors on. they stick the whole day and it makes the colors brighter. i know it sounds weird, but it works

my favorite ones are H.I.P.(high intensity pigment) and milani. the secret to getting the full color of eyeshadow is to put a very light coat of chapstick on your eyelids and then put the colors on. they stick the whole day and it makes the colors brighter. i know it sounds weird, but it works

I'm a makeup artist for Lancome at the moment, and if you want to start wearing eyeliner just to the top of your eyelid, try using a liquid eyeliner with a bristle that has ';control';. Try the Lancome liquid eyeliner, apply it once, lasts me the whole day. What I do, is I put it on right after I put on my foundation, but hey, there's no rule that you can't put it on before applying any makeup whatsoever. I usually just tend to close my eyes softly and gently, and just let my hand gestures be the leader and do the eyelining, and end it with a cute cat eye. It's not about how to apply eyeliner to your top lid, it's about control and your hand gestures. If you want to put your eye liner on the top of your eye lid what i do is just close the eye i want to put it on and pull it at the side so its tight and then its really easy to put the eye liner on and it doesn't go all smudgy.
But if you want to put it on the part of your eye lid thats underneath your eye lashes just put it on the corner of your eye and just keep on going back over the eye lid to make it darker. It looks really nice. It takes a while to get used to though cos it feels as though you are poking yourself in the eye.

1. L'Oreal H.I.P cream liners. I love these liners. They are just as good as MAC's fluideline and not nearly as expensive. Hopefully they will expand to include more colours.
2. Jane Mineral Pillow blushes. Normally I am a huge blush snob but these blushes are amazing. They easily rival anything that you find at Sephora in terms of pigmentation and overall quality. A definite must have for $5.
3. Bonne Bell pencil liner in Black Ink. When I do opt for a black pencil liner, this is the first one that I go for. Easy, smooth application and great colour.
4. Rimmel Lasting Finish Liquid Foundation. Amazing stuff for when you're on a budget. Long lasting and amazing buildable coverage.

1. Revlon ColorStay foundation in combo/oily foundation.
I love this stuff because I NEVER thought I'd find a liquid foundation for oily-skinned girls, and when I finally did find one that actually helped control oil without drying out my face, I was super excited that I found it in a drugstore, of all places! I'm still on my first bottle of ColorStay, but I really really like it so far. The coverage is great, it doesn't break me out (which is saying a lot- I'm kind of prone to breakouts) and the price can't be beat.
2. CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara.
I'm awful with mascara. I usually buy one and stick with it no matter how much I don't like it, because I'm too lazy to experiment with new ones. But I took a chance and tried LashBlast, figuring that I'd see if it was really worth all the hype. It totally is! I'm on my third tube of it, and it's just... wow. I use the non-waterproof formula, and it's really incredible. It gives great volume, doesn't flake off, isn't clumpy, and it holds a curl really well.
3. Cetaphil Gentle Face Cleanser.
It's interesting how this stuff has been around as long as it has, despite the fact that they hardly ever advertise it. This is one of the best face washes I've ever used. It's gentle enough to take off all of my makeup, and it doesn't dry my face out. Plus it's dirt cheap. I bought a huge bottle of it for like, $10, and it's going to last me forever, I kid you not.
4. Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque
If you've never heard of this, google it and read the reviews. It's wonderful. A nice, cool, tingly minty masque that helps dry up breakouts and shrink pores. A tube will run you about $4, and will last months and months, because you don't need much. Very fun to do with girl pals, or while watching sappy romantic movies during PMS week. It makes your skin super soft.
5. Nivea A Kiss of Moisture lip balm.
Okay, so it's not exactly makeup, but this lip balm is wonderful. It comes in a little blue tube, and it twists up like lipstick. I use this stuff all the time, which is saying a lot, because I'm quite the chapstick junkie. I've also found that a layer of this lip balm under lipstick or lipgloss helps keep my lips moisturized for hours. It's really terrific. It keeps my lips soft, and has a little bit of SPF, which is nice for when I'm outside all day.
1.Makeup Remover*- You need it cause if you don't take off your makeup, it causes acne.
2.Foundation- You would need to have an even skin tone.
3.Eyeliner- eyeliner is important because it makes your eyes pop and really stand out.

I dont know how to apply poweder makeup because there's these little tiny holes on the top?
i cant get enough powder out of the container becaue theres holes on the top and my face brush doesnt get enough powder off...the top dont come off eather so how can i get some out with those holes on it......do it tip it over or what?? plz help and i know the brush is the right one for that powder because it came with it....its from AVON Products .I dont know how to apply poweder makeup because there's these little tiny holes on the top?

Gently sweep the brush applicator over the surface of your skin in a light sweeping motion. Slide the package sleeve up over the brush when finished and replace cap after each use.
don't you just push the end opposite of the brush? i think then the powder will just go up into the brush and you wont have to dip the brush in the powder or anything

Wearing a high pencil waist skirt and top need makeup help!!1?
i am going out into the city for the entire day and part night (with a guy hehehe) and need some makeup and hair help!!!!
my dress is a black high waisted skirt that really accentuates a small waist that reaches right under the bust and above the knee by an inch, and the top is a completely open collared top/blouse with short sleves in red. i am also wearing red high heels.
my complexion is:
skin: fair to light
eyes: hazel/green
hair: brown and is about 2 almost 3 inches shy of reaching the top of my butt.

What a cute dress! It really reminds me of the 50s, so keeping with that era, I'd go for a winged liquid liner. Keep the eyeshadows in a really natural color (something close to the color of your skin or a shade lighter), go for a light brown in the crease to give some definition, and maybe a light pink gloss (no red because it might compete with the shirt and look off). Looks like it would be a cute outfit I think that a very light smokey eyed look would look great with a black skirt and red shirt. They have great how to videos on youtube. Accessorize: Wear medium fake diamond studs, don't wear a necklace, a fake diamond ring, or else, A big blingy type of bracelet. choose one either the ring, or the bracelet.

Well my friend who doesn't normally wear makeup wears it on nights out and looks absolutely amazing. I wear it nearly everyday (not that much) and i look pretty nice on daily basis but on nights out i get totally outclassed by her nearly everytime. Not being bitchy here cause I'm super glad i have such a gorgeous friend don't get me wrong :P but is there some way that i can match her in beauty without going over the top with makeup? With my makeup, I usually put eyeliner on the waterline of your eye, which is like the inside part. I do that on the top and bottom, Make sure its waterproof. Than, I put mascara on preferablly black for both mascara and eyeliner. I than do cat eye tips which are basically your eyeliner from the top and bottom of your eye meeting together on the outside left of your eye. Green eyeshadow looks really nice if you have tan skin and brown eyes, if you have lighter skin and blue eyes, a light purple would be cute. I like to put lipgloss on my lips as well. thats about it(:
For evenings out:
Dark eyeliner, black
Mascara, preferably black or dark brown
Dark eyeshadow, but not too dark. Blue-purple for blue or gray eyes, and greenish brown for anything else.

try changing up what you do with your make up. your friend probably looks so amazing because your not used to seeing her look that good. if you already wear makeup, its not a big change on the nights you go out. try a new colour of eyeliner of eyeshadowLooking good without going over the top with makeup?
Try doing what she does.
I usually like to put on mascara and a hint of eyeshadow to a special occasion or whatever. The key thing is to not put an overload of eyeliner.

With my makeup, I usually put eyeliner on the waterline of your eye, which is like the inside part. I do that on the top and bottom, Make sure its waterproof. Than, I put mascara on preferablly black for both mascara and eyeliner. I than do cat eye tips which are basically your eyeliner from the top and bottom of your eye meeting together on the outside left of your eye. Green eyeshadow looks really nice if you have tan skin and brown eyes, if you have lighter skin and blue eyes, a light purple would be cute. I like to put lipgloss on my lips as well. thats about it(:
For evenings out:
Dark eyeliner, black
Mascara, preferably black or dark brown
Dark eyeshadow, but not too dark. Blue-purple for blue or gray eyes, and greenish brown for anything else.
