Would it be too over the top if I wore makeup to my elementary graduation?

I am graduating from elementary school. I was asked to give a speech.I guess I am a little like the Valedictorian. We were asked to dress up.Would it be too over the top if I wore mascara nd a tiny sweep of eyeshadow?


The graduation is on Thursday, so please answer quickly.

Just put on some mascara ,pink ';LIGHT'; blush,some lip gloss,and if your hair is short just straighten it.If you have long hair like past your shoulders %26amp; have bangs , curl the bangs and straighten the rest.If you don't have bang's then just straighten your hair.

it depends. do your friends wear makeup? if they do and they are going to wear it to the grad thing too then what the heck, who cares if you do or not? but if they are'nt it is still okay to wear it, but i would probably just wear the mascara not the eyeshadow. but its still okayt if you do just dont make it look all cheap and trashy. but dont make yourself look all rich and fancy and **** either.
theres nothing wrong with makeup as long as you dont cake yourself, as long as its just a small bit, remember you can have all the time in the world to wear makeup when your older and dont over do it now, ask your friends if their thinking ov wearing make up so you dont look like the odd one out or like youre tryin too hard because people pick up on that, good luck!
You're young so it's not really a good thing for you to wear makeup but seeing as it is a special event and you have a sort of high honor it would seem appropriate. But just don't over do it. Even if you only wore a bit of eyeshadow and some lip gloss you would look nice.

Many parents look down on children (even teens) wearing make-up. Plus, if you can't do it well, it's not worth it.





There are many reasons not to. Though it seems like it could be an awesome idea, I wouldn't. (This is a girl with a similar experience here. I promise. You don't want to do it.)
hm, on my elementary grad, i wore makeup, (even though it was in a pool) put oh well i did, and you should, cuz your a preteen and almost a teen so yea leaving elementary, so were cuz, its prettier, :)
i dont think so! If you dont look like a clown, why not? You'll look super pretty :) Ask your mom/guardian for help so it comes out nice. Good luck!!

It kinda depends. I guess you could wear make up but don't make it look like your a clown. Remember, the whole point of wearing make up is to make it look like your not wearing any. But yeah, I think you could wear make up. :)

Although elementary school is a little young for makeup if you did a teeny bit of eyeshadow, a little mascara, and a cute clear lip gloss it would probably be okay. Congrats!

wear a nuetral eyeshadow like a not too pigmented light brown, and only one coat, only one!!, of black or brown mascara on your top eyelashes.

but instead of putting mascara just curl your eyelashes


and put a pale coat on your eyes

You can use minimal make up. Foundation powder and mascara.
just eyeshadow. mascara might run and that would be not good!

Honey I wouldn't... I don't think makeup should really touch the face of any one younger than 14 or so. You're still a girl.
hmmm no it would be fine...just dont load it on a nice light coloered eye shadow would be cute and some mascara would be fine and brighten your eyes!
