It depends on what you mean by big. Some of them have gotten contracts with major cosmetic companies! Even some that did not make it to the top! Look at Adrian she is married to a Brady!
haha gd ? but they arent ever really successful...think american idol successful-they have one cd then they dont .there are exceptions though!
I think anyone can be a model! Some of the successful ones that we know today really aren't that good looking in my opinion anyway! It seems that as long as you are anorexic and look like you are dying from malnutrition you could be hired instantly and it doesn't really matter if you have a pretty face. Personally I thought Tocara from Top Model a couple of years ago was stunning and she was a plus size. She had inner and outer beauty!

makeup doesn't make the model. as far as looks, all you need is height and cheekbones. the rest is skill.
some of them have very good contracts - I see them on ads - tv and in print. Some may do more runway or work as a commercial model - just don't see everything. I wouldn't be surprised if some work in other countries.
